AUBURN — Robert W. Harding, 86, of Stetson Road, Auburn, formerly of Farmingdale, died Monday, Feb. 22, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice after a short illness.

He was born in Beverly, Mass., April 21, 1923, son of the late William J. and Ruth A. (Abbott) Harding. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific. After retiring, he spent winters in Zephyrhills, Fla., with his wife, Mary, and together they would go for bike rides and go square dancing with their many friends.

He leaves his loving wife, Mary of Auburn; two daughters, Patty Dunham and her husband, Scott, of Dothan, Ala., and Judi Kelsea of Auburn; son, Tracy Harding and his wife, Aimee Smith, of Hampden; sister, Louise Kilbreth and her husband, Harold, of Topsham; four grandsons, Michael Dunham and wife, Donna, of Georgia, Brian Kelsea and wife, Rachel, of Auburn, Kevin Dunham and wife, Lara Robinson, of Georgia, and Adam Kelsea and wife, Jessica, of Auburn; six great-grandchildren, Abby Dunham, Mya and Sadie Kelsea, Sam Dunham, Alexis and Peyton Kelsea; special friends Gary, Holly, Jenny and Betsy; special neighbors, Gene and Patty; and special friends, Roger and Sharon.
