Class luncheon

RUMFORD — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 is invited to meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the Route 2 Diner, Rumford Center.

Senior club

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the Methodist Church, for a meeting and luncheon. It will be a potluck luncheon and members are asked to bring either a salad, hot dish or dessert to share. Members should also bring items for the auction.

Kindergarten registration

RUMFORD — Parents or guardians with children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2010, are asked to call their neighborhood school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Friday, April 9, to preregister their child for kindergarten.

Formal registration and screening will take place at each school. Rumford Elementary, 364-8155, will hold screenings from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 15 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 16. Meroby Elementary, 364-3715, will hold registration from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 6 and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 7. Parents should allow one hour for the appointment.

Parents need to bring an original birth certificate, immunization information and the child’s social security card to the registration session.
