Lucille M. Turgeon

1926 – 2010

AUBURN — Lucille M. Turgeon, 83, formerly of Huard Avenue, Auburn, died Sunday, Feb. 28, at Clover Manor Nursing Facility.

She was born in Monmouth, June 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Belanger) Labbe. She worked for many years at Dori Shoe. She married the love of her life Roland E. Turgeon on Sept. 16, 1950, he predeceased her on Oct. 6, 1988.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with all of them.

She leaves a daughter, Doris Chasse and her husband, Emile, of Lewiston; a son, Robert Turgeon and his wife, Vicki, of Auburn; a daughter-in-law, Debra (Morin-Turgeon) Hunt and her husband, Glen, of New Gloucester; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Turgeon) Breton and husband, Mike, of Auburn, David Turgeon of Auburn, Jon Turgeon and wife, Elizabeth, of Auburn, Amy (Turgeon) Ashton and husband, Eric, of Auburn, Jeffrey Couture of Sarasota Fla., Kristy (Turgeon) White and husband, Joseph, of Lewiston, Tanya (Turgeon) Leen and husband, Matthew, of Lewiston and Michael Turgeon of Auburn; and five great-grandchildren, Alex, Katelyn and Eli Breton of Auburn, Amelia Turgeon of Auburn and Ava Ashton of Auburn.

She was predeceased by a son, Paul Turgeon; six sisters, Rita Remillard, Jeannette Lessard, Dorothy Labbe, Mary Parent, Jane Nadeau and Solange Prescott; and four brothers, Robert, Herman, Romeo and Roland Labbe.

The family would like to send a very special thank-you to the entire staff at Clover, for showing their love with hugs and making Lucille feel like she was among family.
