AUBURN — Androscoggin County Republicans will hold the annual Lincoln Day Dinner and Auction on Friday, March 5, at the Hilton Garden Inn. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m.
All reservations should be made by March 4.
Guest speaker will be Tony Payne, executive director of The Alliance for Maine’s Future, a statewide nonprofit, nonpartisan organization holding legislators accountable for a healthy Maine economy through workplace education and voter action.
Payne served as vice president of both Employers’ Mutual Insurance Co. and, later, OneBeacon Insurance, two of Maine’s largest insurance companies. He was also president of Maine Media Inc., an advertising, marketing and public relations firm, and has served as executive director of the Maine Republican Party.
Republicans gather around the country each year to honor Abraham Lincoln. The cost, including dinner, is $35 per person. Reservations may be made by calling Rosemarie Butler at 782-6373. Checks should be made out to the Androscoggin County Republicans.
