Ligouri A. Beaulieu
1916 – 2010

AUBURN — Ligouri A. Beaulieu, 93, of 11 Heathwood Lane, Lewiston, died peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, March 7, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 4, 1916, the son of Charles and Mary (Lemieux) Beaulieu Sr. He attended schools in Lewiston and on July 4, 1955, he married Exilia Lebrun.

He worked for many years at the Auburn Heel Co. and later for several years at the Farwell Mill in Lisbon. He was a member of Holy Cross Church.

He was an avid bowler, having bowled for many years at Holiday Lanes and Sparetime up to the age of 91. He was also an avid Red Sox and Patriot’s fan and enjoyed playing cribbage every night with his wife. He had a passion for nature and loved to go to Sebago Lake and Reid State Park.

He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Exilia Beaulieu of Lewiston; his daughter, Suzanne Dionne and her husband, Marc, of Topsham; his sister, Venise Arnov of Florida; and his brother, Charles Beaulieu Jr. and his wife, Cecile, of New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Euclide and Oscar; and his sisters, Estelle Dennis and Candide Beaulieu.
