POLAND — Excelsior Grange is seeking contestants for the second annual amateur talent contest. There will be two age categories: youth, ages 4 to 15, and adults, over age 16. The contest will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Grange Hall, Harris Hill Road.
Each category will have two prizes. First place will win $100 and the second place winner will receive $50. The audience will also choose one act for the Peoples Choice Award, and they will win $50.
Any and all forms of general audience entertainment are encouraged to enter. The number of participants in each act will be limited only by the size of the stage. The deadline to enter is Saturday, April 10.
Audience admission will be $3 for adults and free for children under 12. Anyone wishing to enter the contest can request an entry form or more information by calling 998-2301. Entry forms will also be available at local schools.
