MEXICO – The Mexico Police Department recently handled the following motor vehicle accidents.
A vehicle driven by Rebecca L. Thibeault, 31, of Pine Street, Rumford, collided with a deer at 11:26 p.m. March 8 as she was driving west on Route 2 near the Gregory Inn. Thibeault’s 2003 Ford sport utility vehicle sustained $3,000 damage. The deer was killed.
Vehicles driven by Roland E. Chartier, 82, of Andover, and Cailin M. Currivan, 20, of Westfield Avenue, Bridgeport, Conn., collided at 10:40 a.m. March 5 on Main Street near Food Trend. Chartier’s 1994 Oldsmobile sedan sustained $500 damage. Currivan’s 2003 Volkswagen sedan sustained $2,500 damage.
