FARMINGTON — It could be your turn to “come on down” at the Farmington Rotary Club’s eighth annual Price Is Right Game.

The event will be staged at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Mt. Blue High School Auditorium. The club promises an evening of fun and excitement.

With only 400 seats available in the auditorium, the Rotary Club expects to again sell out this popular event this year.

Patterned after the popular television show of the same name, the Rotary’s Price Is Right game will feature seven games, including Punch Out, Plinko, Yodeler, Name That Tune, Queen of Hearts and Beat the Clock, as well as offering the top two contestants the opportunity to win one of two big Showcases in the grand finale.

This year’s theme is “Country Rock,” and those attending can expect trivia contests, country and southern rock musical numbers choreographed by Leslie Bull, skits, line dancing and even some famous or unusual “country-western stars,” (or at least the Rotarians portraying them).

Those who are not called to the stage still have opportunities to win door prizes including 100 gallons of heating oil, donated by Fabian Oil. Co. of Jay. The other prizes are a surprise, but are sure to please.

Advance tickets are available for $10, and the price will be $12 at the door. The tickets are available from any Rotary Club member or at Ron’s Market in Farmington.
