Lillian M. Cote

AUBURN — Lillian M. Cote, 94, a resident of 200 Stetson Road, Auburn formerly of Lewiston, died Wednesday, March 24, at Schooner Estates Residential Care after a short illness with her family by her side.
She was born in St. David, July 20, 1915, the daughter of Thomas and Delphine (Cyr) Cote.
She was employed in both the local shoe and textile industry most of her life. She was an avid volunteer in her active years in the social and spiritual community of her church.
She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed making most of her own clothes.
Survivors include two nieces, Marie Snow and husband, Roger, of Yarmouth and Frances Theberge and husband, Paul, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; one nephew, Walter J. Cote and wife, Doris, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, O’Neil and Walter Cote.
The family of Lil thanks the staff at Schooner Estates Residential Care for their love and compassion during the last years of her life.
