SOUTH PARIS — “Looking Again at Jesus” will be the Palm Sunday sermon topic by Silver Moore-Leamon, who will lead the 10 a.m. service at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., on Sunday, March 28. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School and Forest Perkins will direct the music. The coffee hour will follow the service in Good Cheer Hall. Child care is provided. Everyone is invited and welcome.

Conferences

SOUTH PARIS — Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School will hold parent-teacher conferences between 3:50 and 7 p.m. Monday, April 12. Appointments should be made by 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7.

Those who do not call ahead for an appointment may still sign up for a time on April 12 by stopping at the classroom and selecting any open time on the appointment sheet posted outside the classroom. Maps of the building and student schedules will be available in the Guidance Office.

Egg hunt

OTISFIELD — Otisfield children ages 12 and under are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, at the Otisfield Community School. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the hunt will begin at 11:15 a.m. Children are asked to bring a basket or bag.

Parents must accompany children. For more information, call the recreation director at 539-9101.

Hospitality

FREEPORT — The Maine Innkeepers Education Foundation, affiliated with the Maine Innkeepers Association, is accepting applications for their 26th annual scholarship program. The scholarship was designed to offer partial support and encourage Maine students pursuing careers in culinary sciences or hospitality.

Applications must be received before Friday, April 9, and will be reviewed by a selection committee. Any Maine resident who has been accepted to a fully accredited school with specialties in hotel administration or culinary sciences and is pursuing a career in hospitality is encouraged to apply for a scholarship award ranging from $500 to $2,000.
