LEWISTON — The seventh annual Chili and Chowder Taste Challenge will he held Wednesday, April 7, at the Ramada Inn, and because of the popularity of the event two seatings will be offered this year.
Seatings for the fundraiser, which benefits Lewiston’s Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School, will be at 5:30 and at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by the Green Ladle — Lewiston Regional Technical Center’s Culinary Arts Program — the event will feature chili and chowders from a variety of local restaurants.
Tickets can be purchased in advance until Monday, April 5, at Longley School, the Sun Journal or at LRTC. They may also be purchased at the door. For more information, contact Dan Caron at the Lewiston Regional Technical Center, 156 East Ave., 795-4144.
