LEWISTON — Oxford Networks announces the hiring of Carl Richardson as central office manager for the company.
In this position, Richardson is responsible for the design of central office power systems, carrier facilities and trunk requirements. He will also conduct research, test and recommend new access platforms, DSLAM’s and VoIP features and applications. Richardson is also responsible for voice traffic analysis and capacity engineering.
Richardson comes to Oxford Networks with more than 30 years experience in telecommunications. Previous positions include central office technician for Standish Telephone, technical coordinator for the University of Southern Maine, and co-founder, vice president operations of Communication Technologies Inc.
