LEWISTON – The Paul R. St. Pierre Memorial Softball Tournament will be played Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 at Randall Road Fields. The benefit one-pitch, co-ed tourney is in memory of a sports fan and local softball player who lost his life in a car accident last month. Entry fee is $210 per team, with all proceeds going to the education fund for St. Pierre’s daughter.
Lunch will be available on site for an additional donation. Trophies will be awarded for first and second place. All teams are guaranteed at least two games. Schedule will be determined according to the number entries.
Tournament play will be Sunday only if 16 or fewer teams participate. Registration deadline is 4 p.m. Friday, April 23. To register, call Justin Pelletier at 240-6355 or Ben Lachance at 333-7840, or email stpierrememorial@gmail.com.
