WATERFORD — Michael Doyle, manager, consumer affairs, for the U.S. Postal Service’s Northern New England District, will speak on various aspects of mail fraud and identity theft at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at the Waterford Library.

Doyle’s presentation may be of interest to any citizen who is concerned with identity theft, whether for themselves or for family members and friends. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the U.S. today, with millions of people being victims and having their personal information compromised.

Con artists have used the mail for years to further fraudulent schemes and Doyle will also address various scams and frauds.

The presentation is free and open to the public. The Waterford Library is located on Routes 35 and 37.
