WILTON – Funeral services for Thomas E. Linder Sr. of Wilton were held Saturday, April 10, from the Farmington Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Edgerly officiating. The Greater Purpose quartet, Louise McCleery, Alan Hutchinson, Craig Hutchinson and Cathi Burke, offered comfort through song. Soloist Cathi Burke also sang “How Great Thou Art.” His son, Thomas E. Linder Jr. sang “Jesus Loves Me” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Family members and friends offered personal eulegies and memories. Pallbearers were his son, Thomas E. Linder Jr., his sons-in-law, Clinton Brooks and Michael Nyboe, his grandsons, Curtis Brooks and Christopher Brooks, his grandson-in-law, Russell Roy, Farmington Baptist Church friends, Mike Gerdina and Vern Moore. After services a family balloon release took place at the entrance of the church and a reception, hosted by the church hospitality committee, was held in the church vestry. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
