FARMINGTON — The Maine Parent Federation and the Franklin County Children’s Task Force will present a workshop titled “Special Education: The 3 Rs: Rights, Responsibilities and Results.”

The recent changes in the current special education regulations will be discussed and attendees will discover how to ensure their participation in meetings that address desired educational outcomes. Those attending may also gain knowledge of strategies for making the most of the Individualized Education Program or Individual Family Service Plan meetings.

The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 26, at the Franklin County Children’s Task Force. Dinner and child care will be provided, a $20 stipend for parents.
