College planning
WILTON — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host a free workshop, “Essentials of College Planning,” at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Career Center, 865 U.S. Route 2E.
The interactive workshop will outline the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning and study skills. The workshop lasts approximately two to three hours. Preregistration is required.

Trout Unlimited
BETHEL — Mollyockett Trout Unlimited will meet on Thursday, April 22, at Ordway Hall, Gould Academy. Dinner, optional, will be at 5:30 p.m., for $8. The meeting will start at 6:45 p.m. and all are welcome to attend at no charge.

Public supper
JAY — A public supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the North Jay Grange 10. There will be baked beans, casseroles, salads, fruit salads, cole slaw, rolls, beverages and dessert. Dinner music will be provided by The Crosbys.
