WATERFORD — Ron Hill, maintenance supervisor for the Waterford Worlds Fair, has announced that Sunday, April 25, will be the first spring workday at the fairgrounds. Start time is 9 a.m., with lots of cleanup both inside the buildings and outside on the grounds.

Those assisting should bring a rake or a broom and an extra one to share if available.  All fair members are encouraged to come help.

Lunch will be provided but everyone should bring their own beverages. A dessert to share would be welcome.

The next fair meeting will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the Fairgrounds. The many summer events that are planned at the fairgrounds will be discussed. This will also be a workday, starting at 9 a.m.

For questions about the workday, call Ron in the evenings at 583-4160.
