HARTFORD — Jeffrey Allen Bennett, 37, of Hartford, died at his residence on April 20. He was born in Norway on Dec. 15, 1972, the son of Joel & Shirley (Bedard) Bennett Sr. He was educated in local schools, graduating from Buckfield High School, Class of 1991. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and worked for eight years at Tex-Tec. He loved to read, hunt, and fish, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Bennett of Hartford; two brothers, Joel Bennett Jr. of Hartford, and Jason Bennett and his girlfriend, Jo, of Buckfield; one sister, Michele Bennett of Buckfield; maternal grandmother, Isabel Bedard; and paternal grandmother, Gladys Bennett; two nieces, Carla Powers of Buckfield and Cheryl Powers of Pittsburgh, Pa.; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Mason Buck Bennett; his father, Joel Bennett Sr.; and his three pets, Cobra, Molly and Sassy.
