FARMINGTON — The last day to purchase any of the trees, shrubs or other plants from the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District is Friday, April 30. The last day to order trout is Friday, May 7.
The variety of berry bushes, fruit trees, herbs, edibles, flowering shrubs, perennials and conifers is getting smaller. No orders will be taken between May 1 and the May 7 and 8 pick up dates.
Any remaining plants may be purchased during the pick up, from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 7 and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 8. Pick up is scheduled at the barn next to the District Courthouse on Main Street.
Price lists and order forms are available at 107 Park Street or at www.franklincswcd.org. Full color pictures and descriptions are available at both locations.
Rain barrels and compost bins are also on sale. Any extras will be available at the shrub pick up. Call 778-4279 for additional information.
