LIVERMORE FALLS – Milos J. Kuhn, 80, a resident of Karn Road, Livermore Falls, died early Wednesday morning at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Ostrava-Vitkovice, Czechoslovakia on Dec. 2, 1929, the son of Jaroslav Kuhn and Bohumila neé Mikyška. He left his homeland after World War II and lived and studied or worked in West Germany, Strasbourg, Paris and Morocco before emigrating to the United States in 1956. After some years in Chicago and California, he moved to Tulsa, where he met his wife, Beatrice. He and Beatrice were married on May 9, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked as a research geophysicist in the area of oil exploration. He retired to Maine in 1987; he loved the Maine woods and kept busy with many things around the house.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; daughter, Olga Kuhn of Tucson, Ariz.; and sister, Jarus Drach, of Broken Arrow, Okla. He was a man of great sincerity, strength and tenderness, and he will be dearly missed.
