AUBURN — Lila M. (Hammond0) Bonneau, 83, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, April 24, at Clover Manor, with her family by her side.

She was born Oct. 9, 1926, in Carthage, the daughter of John and Lovica (Young) Hammond, wife of Tom Bonneau. She attended Carthage schools and worked for G.H. Bass as a fancy stitcher for more than 20 years.

Throughout her life, she loved to cook and care for her family. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dodd and Melinda Hoisington; her grandchildren, Tom, Suzanne, Jill and Jeff; and her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brea, Abby, Matty, Jesse and Alisha.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sister, Marguerite; brother, John; niece, Beverly; and great-grandson, Corey.

The family wishes to thank Clover Manor and Hospice for their hard work and care. They are such special people. Thank-you would never be enough.
