AUBURN — A benefit Dart Shoot will be held on Saturday, May 8, at the New Auburn Social Club. Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the tournament will begin a 1 p.m. The entry fee is $15; $10 towards the benefit and $5 towards the tournament.
Proceeds will benefit Riana Inman, 22 months. Inman is a patient in the Neuromuscular Program at the Children’s Hospital Boston. She has a condition known as chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy, or CIDP. It is a chronic nerve disease that causes weakness and fatigue.
She requires ongoing chronic therapy for her disease, including regular trips to Children’s Hospital Boston, prescription medication, periodic intravenous infusions and physical therapy.
