NORWAY — Several organizations will be on hand this week to discuss resources available for residents to combat domestic violence.

The Oxford County Domestic Violence Task Force will host a free dinner and informational fair Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church on Main Street. The dinner runs from 6 to 7 p.m., while the fair will run from 7 to 8 p.m. A children’s craft-making activity will also be available from 6 to 8 p.m.

Organizations attending the event will include the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, the Department of Health and Human Services, United Way, the Rape Education and Crisis Hotline, Healthy Oxford Hills, the Western Maine Health Resource Center, and local libraries. They will address numerous topics related to domestic abuse, such as housing, transportation and health issues.
