AUBURN — Members of Danville Junction Grange 65 recently celebrated its 135th anniversary at an open meeting in connection with Grange Month.

Past Masters of the Grange were special guests for the evening. Past Masters attending were Francis Steele, Ralph Lashua, Harold Parsons, William Hatch, David Young, Shirley Hatch and Maynard Chapman. Unable to attend were Kenneth Parsons, Jennifer Parsons, Donald Nason and Wesley Ryder.

Membership certificates were also presented by State Master James Owens to Karen Gagne, 40 years and to David Young, 40 years. Unable to attend were Russell Hammond, 75 years; Julien Beaulieau and Wesley Ryder, 60 years; Shirley Keene, 55 years; Marion Tripp and Ernest James, 50 years; and Coleen Hartford and Cheryl Tukey, 40 years.

The Community Citizen Award was presented to John Jenkins, former mayor of both Lewiston and Auburn. He was introduced by State Representative of District 70, Bruce Bickford.

Barbara Driscoll of Excelsior Grange was presented with a certificate of appreciation. She has served as pianist at Danville for the last two years.
