PITTSFIELD — Cam Labrecque and two other pitchers combined to limit MCI to three hits to help Oak Hill pick up a 6-1 victory in KVAC baseball action Friday.

Labrecque allowed just one hit and one walk while fanning five in four innings of work for the Raiders (1-3). Ben Dyer and Josh Martin pitched three innings of two-hit relief to close the door.

Josh Prue and Adam Soucy had two hits apiece for Oak Hill, while Craig Morrill added two RBIs. Yuya Izumi took the loss for MCI (1-3).

Lisbon 14, Monmouth 4

LISBON — With the game tied 4-4, Lisbon exploded for 10 runs in the fifth and routed Monmouth, 14-4, in a Mountain Valley Conference game cut short by the 10-run mercy rule Friday.

Ryan Riordan and Alex Hall led Lisbon’s 15-hit attack with three hits apiece. Hall drove in three runs and scored three, while Riordan had an RBI. Scott Eck scored twice and drove in a run. Eck also got the win on the mound for the Greyhounds (3-0) by throwing an inning of scoreless, two-strikeout relief.

Roger Bachelder led Monmouth (0-2) with two hits and two RBIs. Mike Lent added a pair of hits and scored twice.

Cony 2, Lewiston 1

AUGUSTA — Charlie Partridge bases-loaded single with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted Cony to a 2-1 victory over Lewiston in a KVAC baseball game.

With two runners on, Lewiston issued an intentional walk to load the bases. After the next hitter recorded the second out, Partridge hit a soft liner to right that dropped in for the game-winning hit.

Lewiston’s lone run came in the top of the seventh on a leadoff walk, Joe Sullivan’s single and a wild pitch. Cony’s first run scored on Corey LaPierre’s home run in the second inning.

Sullivan and Mekae Hyde had two hits apiece for the Devils. Lewiston starter Jeff Keene allowed two hits in five innings. Trey Ouellette (1-1) was charged with the loss.

Mt. Abram 18, Madison 0

MADISON — Senior catcher Dylan Tisor went 4-for-4, including a grand slam and eight RBIs, to power Mt. Abram to an 18-0 rout over Madison in five innings in MVC baseball action Friday.

Senior left fielder Aaron McGinness went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBIs for the Roadrunners (2-0). Tim Smith pitched the two-hit shutout while striking out 11 batters.

John Briggs and Justin Emery had the only two hits for the Bulldogs (0-3) in the losing effort.

Oxford Hills 12, Morse 2

BATH — Senior second baseman Andrew Keniston belted a grand slam in the second inning to lead Oxford Hills to a 12-2 victory over Morse in six innings in KVAC baseball action Friday.

The Vikings (4-0) posted six runs in the second inning, and led 10-0 before Morse plated a run in the fifith inning to temporarily stave off the 10-run mercy rule. Senior shortstop Cody Hadley also produced a home run in the six-run second.

Aaron Mitchell singled in the Shipbuilders’ (0-4) first run of the game in the fifth inning.

Poland 8,

Sacopee Valley 0

HIRAM — The game was all about Poland on Friday as Matt Brewster contributed a hit and pitched six innings with 12 strikeouts and only one hit to carry Poland to an 8-0 victory over Sacopee Valley in varsity baseball action Friday.

Catcher Conner King collected a game-high 4 RBIs with a pair of doubles for Poland.

The Knights leaped out to a 4-0 lead in the third inning and never looked back.

Dirigo 14, Carrabec 3

NORTH ANSON — Justin Conant produced a two-run single and a sacrifice fly for three RBIs as Dirigo cruised to a 14-3 victory over Carrabec in baseball action Friday.

The Cougars (2-0) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and led 10-0 after four. Specner Ross chipped in with three runs and three stolen bases, while Tyler Gates had two hits and two RBIs.

Aaron Lane recorded one of the Cobras’ (1-2) three hits, and plated a run in the losing effort.

Pitcher Arik Fenstermacher went the distance and fanned eight batters along the way for Dirigo.


Lewiston 13,

Oxford Hills 3

PARIS — Curtis Robinson scored six times to lead Lewiston to a 13-3 victory over Oxford Hills in lacrosse action Friday.

Seth Mason added two goals and two assists while Brandon Tiner, Kurtis Stocker, Ryan Lemelin and Cody Dussault each found the back of the net for the Blue Devils (3-1).

Dana Aube scored all three goals for the Vikings (1-3), while Andy Ripley and Chuck Mann each contributed an assist.

Jesse Leeman stopped seven shots in net for Lewiston. Hunter Rowell and Jesse Ripley combined for 16 saves for Oxford Hills.

Mountain Valley 5, Camden Hills 4, OT

CAMDEN — Nick Taylor scored 26 seconds into overtime to lead Oak Hill to a 5-4 victory over Camden Hills.

Taylor’s game-winner came from the top of the box at the 3:34 mark in overtime.

Camden Hills (0-5) lead 3-1 entering the fourth quarter, but the Falcons offense got on track with three goals.

Cole Clark led Mountain Valley (2-1) with three golas, while Johnson scored the other two. Kyle Duguay and Austin Horne both added two assists.

Levi Rajaniemi stopped five shots for the Falcons, while Jacob Fildermin was credited with 14 saves in goal for Camden Hills.

Cony pounded out 18 hits
