With help from the Rangeley Friends of the Arts, high school students at Rangeley Lake Regional School invited two teaching actors from the Penobscot Theater in Bangor to the school for an Intersession Project, which provides a focused and intense climate for project building. The students spent three days with the actors, abridging Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” to a 30-minute performance. Pictured, from left, are Emma Christensen, actor Benjamin Layman, Daren Decelles, Tucker Simmons, Dagmar Wetherill, Zach Abbott, Alyssa Ferguson, Christa Bonney (kneeling), Mallory O’Neil, actor Kent Burnham, Connor Durgin and Maryam Emami.
