FARMINGTON — Down East Magazine editor-in-chief and author Paul Doiron will give a reading and book signing Thursday, May 20, at Devaney Doak & Garrett Booksellers. His book, “The Poacher’s Son,” set in the wilds of Maine, is a tale of an estranged son thrust into the hunt for a murderous fugitive — his father.
A native of Maine, Doiron earned an English degree from Yale University and a master’s degree in creative writing from Emerson College. He is a registered Maine Guide and lives on a trout stream along the coast with his wife, Kristen Lindquist.
