The purpose of government is to “insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, (and) promote the general welfare.” That should include a vision for education, business, health and the military.
Steve Rowe has proven his leadership in all of those areas.
Having served in the military, worked in the business sector, led in government and raised children, he understands the big picture. He actively solicits and involves those with differing views. He listens to people, their opinions and concerns. Yet he has the integrity to stand up for his beliefs.
He has a vision for the future of Maine as well as a thorough understanding of Maine’s immediate needs and challenges. He has the ideals and ideas to make Maine strong. And he has moxie: “The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage” — The American Heritage Dictionary.
That is why I support Steve Rowe for governor.
