Irene R. Lanois
1933 – 2010
AUBURN – Irene R. Lanois, 76, a resident of Bolster Heights Nursing Home, formerly of Lewiston died Thursday, May 13, at the Hospice House following a short illness.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 6, 1933, the daughter of Willie and Ida (Gendron) Moreau. She was a lifelong resident of the area, and had been employed in the local shoe industry until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Family Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Lanois and his wife, Ockun, of Westminster, Mass.; one daughter, Doris Dunn and her husband, Greg, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one sister, Doris Moreau of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Dean Lanois of Mississippi, and Irene Lanois of Westminster, Mass. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Aimee Moreau.
