On June 8, I will be voting for Pat McGowan for governor. Of the talented and dedicated group of Democrats who want to be the state’s next governor, McGowan brings skills and experience that are matched by no one.
His “2020 Vision for Maine” calls for increased funding for Maine’s public universities. Making educational attainment a priority and keeping our graduates in Maine are key components to supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs.
His tenure as a regional administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, and coming from a family who has owned small businesses here in Maine, means he is uniquely qualified to lead Maine back to prosperity.
Pat McGowan knows this state and knows the people of this state. I hope others will join me in supporting him in the Democratic primary for governor.
