RANGELEY — New England Celtic Arts will present Ryan LeBlanc, Old Man Luedecke and Catherine MacLellan, three East Coast Canadian artists, on tour in Maine later this month.

Concerts will be on Tuesday, May 25, at Lakeside Theater; Wednesday, May 26 at Skye Theatre Performing Arts Center in Carthage; and Thursday, May 27, at Unity College Center for the Performing Arts. Curtain is at 7 p.m. p.m. at Lakeside and Skye, and at 7:30 p.m. in Unity.

There will be a preshow jam session 45 minutes prior to curtain at Skye and Unity.

LeBlanc weaves together rich acoustic guitar tones, the unique timbre of a claw hammer banjo and the lonely voice of harmonica. His latest CD, “Against the Grain,” is a live off-the-floor sample of his unique sounds. There are no overdubs and no multitracking, with up to three instruments played simultaneously. The album brought him a 2007 ECMA nomination for Instrumental Recording of the Year and won World Recording of the Year for 2008.

Singer-songwriter Luedecke is known for his memorable melodies, poetic sense and charisma. He’s been described as a young man with an old soul; but it’s his contemporary lyrics coupled with the rhythm of the old-time banjo that connect him to his audiences.

MacLellan’s matching of pure, ethereal vocals with poetic lyrics has helped make her one of the most celebrated new singer-songwriters in Canada. Her last album, “Church Bell Blues,” was a No. 1 hit on the iTunes Canada Roots charts and earned her comparisons to Joni Mitchell from publications such as Q, Maverick, fRoots, the Austin Chronicle and the Boston Globe. She toured with Bruce Cockburn in the United States and with Steve Forbert in the United Kingdom.

Concert tickets are $12.50 in advance, $15 at the door at Lakeside on Main Street in Rangeley. They may be purchased at the theater or at www.rangeleymovies.com. Tickets are $10 at the door at Skye Theater at 2 Highland Drive in Carthage; and at UCCPA at 42 Depot St. in Unity. Call Lakeside at 864-5000, Skye at 562-4445 or Unity at 948-7469.
