The 2010 horse show season will begin at Ellis River Riders in Andover this weekend. An open show for both English and Western will be on Saturday, May 22, with classes for all ages and abilities to participate. The first Gymkhana show will be held on Sunday, May 23, which also includes events for all ages and abilities. Members and nonmembers may participate with a proof of current rabies and current negative Coggins. Stadium seating is free to all spectators and the food booth will be open for lunch. Parking is also free. The shows will begin at 9 a.m. Ellis River Riders is located off Route 5, on Airport Road.
