CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Heritage Society and the Chesterville Extension Homemakers will team up to stage a plant and bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 22, at the Chesterville Town Hall.

The sale will be held rain or shine. The heritage society will sell plants of various kinds, from house plants to seedlings to perennials. The extension homemakers, famous for their pies, will sell baked goods made in Chesterville.

Proceeds will support the construction of a museum to hold all the artifacts and memorabilia in the society’s collection, which has become sizable over the past 20 years.

The Chesterville Town Hall is just past the junction of Pope Road and Dutch Gap Road. For more information or to donate plants, call 778-3513.
