LIVERMORE FALLS — Copies of the Regional School Unit 36 school budget, proposed at $9.1 million for 2010-10 are available at town offices in Livermore and Livermore Falls, and the district’s central office on Cedar Street in Livermore Falls.

The vote on the budget, which reflects a $321,711, or 3.53 percent decrease from the current budget, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at the Livermore Elementary School on Gibbs Mill Road.

The $9.1 million does not include the proposed $80,000 for adult education, which reflects a $500 increase from the current year.

A validation “yes” or “no” referendum vote on the budget will be held at the polls in each town on Tuesday, June 8.
