Steve Rowe has already distinguished himself by his education and his extensive record of service to the citizens of Maine.

He graduated from West Point, has a master’s degree in business and a law degree from the University of Southern Maine.

He served four terms in the Legislature — from 1992 to 2000 — and excelled as speaker of the House from 1998-2000. He then served as attorney general for four terms.

Steve Rowe’s public service reveals a strong commitment to humanitarian values. He cares for people. He has advocated for legislation supporting civil rights, equal pay for women, fairness in legislation for labor issues and immigration and constitutional rights for all.

He has served the people of this great state very effectively and has earned the opportunity to serve as our governor.

I am enthusiastic about his willingness to serve.
