DURHAM — Combined damage was estimated at $7,500 in a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 125 and Quaker Meetinghouse Road on Wednesday morning.

Maine State Trooper Eric Paquette identified the drivers as Catherine Guiles, 73, of Topsham and Fred Parker, 73, of Lewiston. Guiles complained of knee pain but did not require immediate medical attention. Parker was not injured.

According to Paquette, Parker was driving south on Route 125 toward Freeport and Guiles was driving east on Quaker Meetinghouse Road toward Route 125. Guiles failed to stop at the intersection and hit the passenger side of Parker’s car, the trooper said.

Damage to Guiles 2003 Buick Sedan was estimated at $3,500, and to Parker’s 2001 Toyota Camry, $4,000, in the 9:45 a.m. crash.
