SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. — Armand R. Perrier, 94, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, May 19, at South Bay Hospital of Sun City, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Lewiston, June 7, 1915, the son of Wilfred and Bernadette Perrier. He was educated in Lewiston schools.

He was employed at Gould and Scammon for 49 years as a department manager. For the past 29 years, he remained extremely active traveling to Eastern Europe including Russia at the age of 92, and continued to play cards weekly.

He was married to Blandine Plourde for 64 years, before her passing on Aug. 12 , 2003.

He is survived by three daughters, Germaine Dufresne and her husband, Robert, of Sun City Center, Fla., Anita J Perrier of Sun City Center, Fla., and Jeannette P. Roy and her husband, Raymond, of Sun City Center, Fla.; four grandchildren, Donna Hilliard and her husband, Stephen Sr., of South Windsor, Conn., Daniel Dufresne of McKinney, Texas, Gary Roy and his wife, Ana, of Bethlehem, Pa., and Jeffrey Roy and his wife, Elizabeth, of Framingham, Mass.; and nine great-grandchildren, Stephen, Craig and Lindsay Hilliard, Hayley Dufresne and Andres, Amaya, Abigail, Owen and Franklin Roy.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Bertrand, Henry and Marcel; and one sister, Bernadette Heathco.
