Cancer Survivors and caregivers walk the opening lap of last year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Androscoggin County. This year’s Survivor Lap is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Edward Little High School Track in Auburn. The Survivor Lap honors those who have defeated cancer. Survivors and caregivers will join together to take Relay’s opening lap, while the rest of the event’s participants surround the track to cheer them on. Cancer survivors or caregivers who would like to take part should call 1-800-227-2345 or visit www.RelayForLife.org. All survivors will receive a free Relay For Life T-shirt.
