LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors met at Murray Hall on May 17, with 33 members present.

A light lunch of finger rolls, salads and refreshments were served. A cake was donated by Gloria Dellesandro for dessert. The last meeting of the season was held after the lunch, with Chairwoman Shirley Couture presiding.

Christine Harlow and Lois Gordon were on the sick list. Thank you notes were received from Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice, as well as from the Tri-County Food Bank.  Sue Gagnon requested notes and pictures from the group to put together as a display at the Pulp and Paper Museum.

Andrea Quaid, from Congressman Mike Michaud’s office, spoke in regards to available services from their office. Anyone with questions regarding health care, veterans benefits or any other matter, can contact Michaud by phone, mail or e-mail and he will help if possible.

The 50/50 was won by Edith LeBlanc and the door prize, donated by Marie Gagnon, was won by Francis Therrien. There will be no meetings during June, July and August. The next season will begin at noon Monday, Sept. 13, with a casserole meal. All are encouraged to bring a casserole, salad, vegetable or a dessert.

Anyone interested in joining is invited to attend the meetings, held at 1 p.m. Mondays, at Murray Hall.
