AUBURN — Boy Scout Troop 111 celebrated Christopher Cloutier’s Eagle Court of Honor on March 21.
Cloutier’s Eagle project began with a neighborhood bottle drive to earn money to purchase the wood and supplies needed to build a modular bookcase system. A wooden bookcase was also donated by a neighbor during a bottle drive. He, along with the help of family and scouts from the troop, were able to collect several hundred children’s books donated by local libraries, schools and scout families.
The bookcases, books and plastic totes were donated to the Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care, located at Walton Elementary School. Cloutier is the son of Robert and Mary Beth Cloutier.
