Christina Malik from Auburn received the William Francis Clingman Jr. Ethics Award and the Margaret Blanchard Dissertation Support Award during the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s year-end scholarship and award ceremony.

The Clingman Award goes to graduate students with an expressed interest in media ethics. The Blanchard Award honors the memory of Margaret “Peggy” Blanchard, longtime faculty member at the school. It is given to doctoral students engaged in their dissertation research projects.
