LEWISTON — Applications are being accepted for Lewiston Adult Education’s summer Certified Nursing Assistant training program. The course is designed for adults interested in preparing for a career in the health care field.
The CNA course will provide participants with the knowledge and experience needed to become Maine State Certified as a Nursing Assistant. Nurse’s aide skills will be taught in an interactive classroom setting, and followed by a two-week clinical experience.
The class will begin Tuesday, June 15, and will meet from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Clinicals will run through August.
The course costs $790, plus a $60 lab fee to cover materials. For more information or to apply, call Lewiston Adult Education at 795-4141.
