DIXFIELD — Girl Scouts of Maine Troop 805 will have a benefit lunch from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at the Dixfield American Legion. The menu will include salad, spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread, dessert and drink.
Advanced lunch tickets are available for $5 for adults and $3 for children. To purchase tickets, contact Tara Hemingway at 364-2246.
Tickets at the door will be $6 for adults and $4 for children. Takeout will be available. To order, call Amber Duguay at 364-6541.
Proceeds from the lunch will go towards a trip the scouts are planning to Washington, D.C., in 2012 to attend the Girl Scouts USA’s 100th birthday celebration and national sing-a-long. The troop has been selling cookies and holding bake sales throughout the year to raise funds for the trip.
