The annual Lake Auburn clean up day was held on May 15 with volunteers from Androscoggin Bassmasters and L/A Junior Bassmasters. The event has 20 years of history behind it, said Tony Hawkins, the club’s conservation director. It was estimated that between 500 and 750 pounds of trash was collected. The volunteers are pictured in front of an Auburn Water District truck, which was used to haul the trash.
