AUBURN — Kelly Allison Davis of Buckfield, mezzo-soprano, will give a benefit concert Saturday, June 19, at the High Street Congregational Church.

Beginning at 5 p.m., she will perform works by Faure, Bellini, A. Thomas, Strauss, Mozart and Kurt Weill, with Joyce Moulton on piano.

Also performing will be Chris Keene, tenor, who will present selections from Schumann’s “Dichterliebe,” and Maria Cook, soprano, who will sing a variety of English art songs.

A senior at the University of Connecticut, where she is majoring in voice performance, Davis was chosen to travel to Graz, Austria, July 5- Aug. 15, to perform and study with the Opera Studio of the American Institute of Musical Studies, the leading European summer vocal program.

The concert is free, with donations appreciated to help Davis defry expenses for her trip to Austria.

In 2009, Davis performed at Lincoln Center with the UConn Opera Theater’s production of “Riders to the Sea.” She has also performed solo repertoire in The American Songbook Songfests and the La Bella Voce Songfest at UConn.  Also last year, she was a winner of the Anne Gannet Scholarship Voice Competition put on by the Maine Federation of Music Clubs.
