MEXICO — Beatrice “Honey Bea” Pocius Deraspe, 91, of Mexico, surrounded by her loved ones, completed her journey of life on earth guided by her FAITH on June 22.

She was born on Sept. 11, 1918, the daughter of Melvina Ukmont and Charles Pocius. She graduated from Mexico schools.

Honey Bea loved life and lived life to the fullest up until her last day. She had many passions; her FAMILY, morning prayers, candles, the wind and trees, Garland Pond, sitting in the sun, stacking wood, morning coffee, sewing gifts for many, Forbidden Chocolate ice cream, collecting rocks, composting and recycling, garden veggies, beet soup, swimming, soap operas, reading, going to church and seeing her church friends.

She is survived by her eight devoted children, Karen Gallant, Dan Deraspe, Tom Deraspe and wife, Laurie, Andrew Deraspe, Agatha Kimball, Marie Lander and husband, Tim, Jackie Buotte and Will, Jenny Deraspe and Raja; 17 adoring grandchildren, Brian, Gayle, Susan, Kathy, Mike, Matthew, AJ, Christa, Carrie, Zachary, Hannah, Hilary, Angie, Corey, Allie, Jenna, Katie and Tiffany; and 12 great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Carissa, Jason, Mariya, Joshua, Ellie Bea, Meg, Matthew, Amelia, Lucas, Olivia and Ava.

Everyone who crossed her path loved her and she them. A rock for so many, she touched countless lives. She will be dearly missed.

Oh gracious Honey Bea, shine through us and be so in us that every soul we come in contact with may feel your presence in our spirit.
