ANDOVER — Susan M. Farrar, 63, of South Main Street, Andover, and a longtime resident of Fultondale, Ala., passed away Wednesday, June 23, at the home of her daughter, Jennifer, with loving family at her side.

She was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1964.

Susan attended the Convent at the Sisters of St. Cherieinne in Salem, Mass.

She later attended Bernard’s School of Beauty in Lewiston and was a beautician in the Rumford area for many years; she was also a caretaker for Grace Crowell.

Susan was employed as general manager for Hardees Restaurant in Fultondale, Ala., for several years, and later was employed with Health Services Foundation in Birmingham, Ala.

She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.

Susan loved watching weekend marathons of “Law & Order” and “Criminal Minds,” and dancing to oldies music. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mom, companion, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Surviving are her mother, Rita Lizotte of Rumford; her companion, James A. Harris II; a daughter, Jennifer A. McPherson and husband, Fred, of Andover; a son, Lee A. Farrar and wife, Dee, of Rumford; two sisters, Anne Marie Morris of Alberta, Canada, and Cecilia Blake of Friendship; two brothers, Michael Lizotte and wife, Susan, of Rumford and Thomas Lizotte and partner, Bob, of Portland; six grandchildren, Devon Roberts, Allison (Hutchins) Farrar, Wade McPherson, Bryan Farrar, Kyle Farrar and Andrew Farrar; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Reynold Lizotte; a sister, Jane Walker; and a brother, Andrew Lizotte.
