AUBURN — Nancy C. Conley, 72, of Loudine Avenue, Rumford, died Thursday, June 24, with her loving family by her side at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Island Falls, June 17, 1938, the daughter of William and Helen (Goodall) Irish, and attended schools in Augusta and received her GED in 1994 from Mexico High School.

She had worked in the Rumford Hospital kitchen and as a clerk at Duffy’s. She was a member of the Red Hats and the Ladies Luncheon Group. She enjoyed going for walks with Doris Sweatt and Lucy Buckingham. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was married in Rumford, Aug. 16, 1975, to Thomas “Red” Conley who survives of Rumford.

Other survivors include her daughters, Sandra Prince and husband, Harold of Hallowell and Florida, Sonya Janke and husband, Bruce, of Canton, Sandee Conley of Mexico and Cynthia Gammon and husband, Stacy, of Andover; brothers, Leon Irish and wife, Pat, of Auburn and Joseph Irish and wife, Lena, of Georgia; grandchildren, Matthew Prince and wife, Audrey, Brianna Janke, Alyssa Janke, Stephanie Janke, Lacey Gammon, Lauren Gammon and Lisa Gammon; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a granddaughter, Dee Dee Palmer.
