There’s an old New England saying, “After July 4, it’s Christmas.” This year, let’s pause on Nov. 2 to restore this country back to what the Founding Fathers envisioned.
Instead of fundamentally changing the country, as is the Democrats’ agenda now, let us, instead, go back to the fundamentals that made this country great — a country of integrity, dignity and self-worth, where we can hold our heads high and proudly proclaim, “I am an American,” and not bow and apologize to the world.
This year we can change right here in Maine by electing Paul LePage as governor and Jason Levesque as congressman — people who are not beholden to large lobbyist groups and large unions. Two people who will work for the people of Maine.
Let’s put Maine on a vegetarian diet and cut out all pork-spending, bring in jobs and cut taxes, so we may keep more green in our pockets.
